The Charlotte County Treasurer is responsible for the collection, custody and disbursement of all county funds. The Treasurer's Office is where taxes are paid and dog licenses are purchased. For additional information visit our taxes & licenses webpage or contact Patricia Berkeley, Treasurer. 

 
Important Dates
December 5th -Taxes due for the first half of the fiscal year
June 5th -Taxes due for the remainder of the fiscal year
January 31st - Deadline for purchasing county dog licenses
 
NOTICE TO CHARLOTTE COUNTY TAXPAYERS  

TAXES DUE

The first half of Fiscal Tax Year 2019-2020 real estate and personal property statements have been mailed and are due by December 5, 2019. Failure to receive a bill does not relieve the taxpayer of any additional charges. 

If you have not received a statement, please contact the Treasurer’s Office at (434) 542-5125.  If the tax due date falls on Saturday or Sunday, taxes are due the next business day.  

Treasurer’s Office Hours are 8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday.
