 WINTER STORM DEBRIS CLEANUP INFORMATION
FOR CHARLOTTE COUNTY RESIDENTS

To assist citizens who may need to dispose of larger quantities of food items as a result of the power outage, Charlotte County Recycle Centers will be open every day during the week of February 28th through March 6th.

Hours are 1 pm to 5 pm on Sunday and 7 am to 6 pm on weekdays and Saturday.
------
Any citizen needing assistance with tree cleanup on their property should contact the Charlotte County Administration Office before 5:00 pm on Thursday, March 4th to add their property to the list.  The administration office can be reached at 434-542-5117 during normal business hours, Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
--------
Citizens are asked to make sure that any wood debris collected is not disposed of in ditches along the road or in the VDOT right-of-way as this poses a danger to vehicular traffic and ditches need to remain clear to properly handle stormwater.

INTERNET ACCESS LOCATIONS

The Charlotte County Library is now offering educational internet outreach, with free wi-fi internet access at multiple locations in the County.  For more information, please see the program flyer.

This service is made possible with CARES grant funding administered by The Library of Virginia and The Institute of Museum and Library Services, and with the support of the Charlotte County Board of Supervisors.

In addition to the sites listed on the flyer, a new wi-fi hotspot has been installed at the old Bacon District Volunteer Fire Department building and is now operational.
