INFORMATION ON TALL PINES SOLAR
At their May 24th meeting, the Planning Commission recommended the Board of Supervisors approve Tall Pines Solar with conditions. The Board of Supervisors conducted public hearings on the project's conditional use permit application and siting agreement on August 2nd, after which the siting agreement and conditional use permit were approved. Tri-County Community Action Agency (TCCAA) has recently opened an office at the Charlotte County Department of Social Services. Staff at the office will assist citizens interested in agency programs including energy share, homeless prevention, homelessness and weatherization, and can also make referrals to the USDA program and other agency related program TCCAA offers. INTERNET ACCESS LOCATIONS | |
The Charlotte County Library is now offering educational internet outreach, with free wi-fi internet access at multiple locations in the County. For more information, please see the program flyer. This service is made possible with CARES grant funding administered by The Library of Virginia and The Institute of Museum and Library Services, and with the support of the Charlotte County Board of Supervisors. A new wi-fi hotspot has also been installed at the old Bacon District Volunteer Fire Department building and is now operational. |
