Charlotte County Registrar's Office - Part-time Assistant
The Charlotte County Voter Registration Office is hiring for a part time position within their office for a maximum of 29 hours per week. Under direct supervision of the Director of Elections, this position performs daily general office duties and performs other related duties as assigned by the Director.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • The candidate must have excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, computer proficiency.
  • Be a registered voter in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license issued by the Commonwealth of Virginia

Charlotte County Sheriff's Office - Road Deputy

The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office is now accepting applications for a Road Deputy position.  Requirements are as follows:  
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must be in good physical condition.
  • Must be skilled in computer operations.
  • Must possess good writing and communications skills.
  • Will be required to attend and complete a twenty-four week Law Enforcement Training Course at the Central Virginia Criminal Justice Academy, Lynchburg, VA, which consists of written examinations, as well as, extensive physical and self-defense training
  • Must be 18 years of age.
NOTE:   PRE-CERTIFIED APPLICANTS THROUGH DCJS ARE DESIRED.  

All applicants will be required to pass an oral interview. Applications will be available at the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office.
